What We Ask of Parents During an Illness
We recommend that parents:
- Plan for Backup Childcare: Arrange alternative care for days when your child is too sick to attend.
- Inform Caregivers: Let your caregivers know what is wrong with your child, even when your child is staying home.
- Follow Return-to-Care Requirements: Do not return your child to childcare earlier than recommended unless you have written clearance from a licensed healthcare provider.
